LOS THREE is a three piece band playing reggae, funk, Latin and soul-ified versions of immortal American and Latin classics for both private and public engagements.

Alex Alvear (bass, from Quito, Ecuador), Pablo Bencid (drums/percussion, from Caracas, Venezuela) and Matt Jenson (keyboards, from Boston, MA), are three passionate and talented musicians and singers who have been playing together for more than a decade in various configurations in the Boston and greater New England areas (and sometimes nationally and internationally). Their original meeting was on the fertile ground of Latin music (Latin jazz and Salsa dance music) and they quickly realized their desire to till the fields of American rock, funk, R&B and soul music...AND to walk the streets Jamaican reggae!  Soon they began playing engagements merging their powerful instrumental skills with their knock-out three part vocal harmonies, covering an incredibly wide range of material....and voila, here is LOS THREE!

LOS THREE, FOUR, FIVE or more!! We work with some of the best musicians from NYC to Boston and can increase the fullness of our sound by adding horns (trombone, trumpet, saxophone), guitar, and /or steel pan.
